Jackie Clarkson Changes Stance on Homelessness, Admits It's LikeTotally Like Not Good

Councilwoman-at-Large candidate Jacquelyn Brechtel Clarkson, in a sudden change of opinion, has realized 9 days before the election that homelessness in New Orleans is a problem. In fact, "it's horrible"!

Possibly even more horrible than living in a FEMA trailer; but nowhere near the stupid human catastrophe putting FEMA trailers for future constituents on unusable golf courses in her neighborhood would be.

Heh. You remember that too, huh? If i remember correctly that was the first raising of the ugly Nimby head post-K.

I think this will be another election I'll sit out.

City Council at Large...Same and Old.
They can't force us to vote for the lesser.

The thing I will never forget about the trailer issue is that she didn't even try to act like she was concerned for the people who were waiting for housing. She just didn't want them around her. The other thing I will remember is how no one in city government had the balls(that goes for females too) to stand up to her. This is why I can not vote for any incumbents.

I can't help but remember it. She basically led the crusade for us to stay stuck in our old fucked up collective mindset. One day I will understand why God is making us choose between Clarkson and someone who can't define "unlimited." Until then, I guess I'll just continue to drink heavily.
